St Joseph's Day!

HAPPY ST JOSEPH'S DAY WHANAU!!!

What a wonderful day we had today celebrating the Feast of St Joseph.

We started off our day with whole school Mass followed by tabloid sports after morning tea run by our house captains and finished off with a sausage sizzle run by the PTA.

What a fantastic day! 

Prayers on the turf

Room 7 and Room 8 have been doing prayers on the turf lately.

We have been enjoying Gods creations and remembering this important time of Lent together.

We are thankful for the sunshine, we are thankful for the turf and for the canopy and we are thankful for this season of Lent; that we are able to reflect and appreciate what we have.

Dean Greenwood Swimming

The Year 3 and 4's have been going to Dean Greenwood Swim school from Monday to Thursday this week. 

We have been learning about correct breathing techniques, correct arm strokes, diving and kicking.

It has been very fun and busy and we are all getting really good at swimming!

We can't wait for next week!!
